Do you feel tired and overwhelmed?
Are you exhausted from bobbing and weaving around the needs of others?
Are you looking for a change in your life?
It’s time to focus on your own wellness.
I offer a healing space for people who have learned to navigate the world by tending to the needs of others. Perhaps you have arrived at a juncture where you feel lost and need help to identify your own needs and wishes. Therapy is an opportunity for intentional healing: a time devoted to tending to the wounds you’ve previously ignored, to make meaning of your past, and discover your authentic voice.
I am a Black, mixed race daughter of immigrants and a licensed marriage and family therapist. My passion is sharing healing with adults whose emotional labor is compounded by their experience of oppression at intersections of race, ethnicity, gender expression, sexuality, immigration status, religion, socioeconomic class, and disability. My approach is grounded in social justice and informed by an integration of psychodynamic, somatic, cognitive theories, connection to ancestry, astrology, and Buddhism.
